The Salvation Army Driver Programmes is seeking an Operations Manager to provide operational leadership across our Driver Programmes and Community Driver Testing services. This hands-on role focuses on people, systems, reporting, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
You will work with Coordinators, Administrators and delivery staff to ensure services operate efficiently, deliver high-quality outcomes for participants and communities, and drive improvements in KPI performance.
The Salvation Army Driver Programmes delivers community-based driver licensing, driver education, road safety and behaviour change services across metropolitan and rural communities. We support people who experience barriers to obtaining, progressing or maintaining a driver licence, creating pathways to employment, education, independence, wellbeing and safer participation within their communities.
As Operations Manager, you will provide operational leadership across our Driver Programmes and Community Driver Testing services. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people, systems, reporting, quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Coordinators, Administrators and delivery staff to ensure services operate efficiently, consistently and achieve positive outcomes for participants and communities.
Provide operational leadership across multiple programme and service locations
Lead and support Coordinators and Administrators to achieve high-quality service delivery
Develop and continually improve systems, processes, reporting tools and operational workflows
Monitor programme performance, KPI achievement and contractual requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen service quality, efficiency and participant outcomes
Be community minded, compassionate and committed to supporting positive outcomes for people and whānau
Have advanced Microsoft 365 capability, including Excel, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, dashboards and reporting systems
Be an experienced people leader with the ability to coach, support and develop teams
Have strong organisational, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
Be confident analysing data, identifying trends and translating information into practical operational improvements

This role is permanent/full timeandhours worked will be 37.5 hours per week.
The starting salary for this role will be $93,617.55 per annum.
