Job summary

Scenic Hotel Group in Christchurch is seeking an OPERA Cloud Specialist to lead the configuration and rollout of Oracle OPERA Cloud across our hotel network. You’ll translate operational needs into practical system settings, collaborating with hotel operations, IT and external partners.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Oracle OPERA Cloud or OPERA 5.
Experience configuring, implementing or supporting a hotel property management system.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical, workable system solutions.
Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Supporting the design, setup, configuration and deployment of OPERA Cloud across the Group.
Translating hotel operating processes into effective system configuration.
Establishing consistent Group-wide configuration standards and templates.
Coordinating system testing, user acceptance testing and go-live readiness.
Supporting the phased migration to OPERA Cloud.
Assisting with data migration, validation and reconciliation.
Supporting the integration of OPERA Cloud with a range of hotel technology platforms (POS, channel management, booking engines, CRM, payment/finance).
Developing system documentation, procedures, troubleshooting guides and training resources.
Working with internal teams and external partners to resolve system issues.
