Placements24 is seeking a Junior IT Support Apprentice to join an onsite IT team. You will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software, setting up workstations, and maintaining IT infrastructure.

You will provide first-level support to staff via phone, email, or in person, work with Windows and macOS, and learn how to manage user accounts and permissions in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Good problem-solving and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to staff in person or remotely.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot OS and application issues and document resolutions.
• Assist with user accounts and access permissions.
• Log issues and follow up on their status.
