Rocket Lab Corporation in Auckland is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our on-site team. You will provide day-to-day IT support for staff, ensure access to information, and keep computer systems, networks, and devices running smoothly to enable productivity from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in IT support and high school diploma.
• Exposure with most and solid operational experience in at least two of the following: Windows or Linux desktop operating systems; PC hardware assembly/disassembly; Understanding of networking; A scripting language; Active Directory and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day IT support and service by interacting with staff, answering inquiries, and handling complaints.
• Track and update support desk tickets (Incident, Request, Problem, Change) and other documentation.
• Be the onboarding point of contact for new hires to ensure productivity from day one.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement processes to enhance IT services, systems, and processes.
• Work shifts including evenings and weekends and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
