Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, delivering science education to Years 9 to 13 entirely online. You will teach engaging science through live virtual classrooms, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 to 3, while working remotely from anywhere in New Zealand and building a connected learning community.

We’re looking for someone with NZ teaching registration and a science teaching qualification, strong knowledge of NCEA Levels 2–3, and

Qualifications

• New Zealand teaching registration.
• Science teaching qualification and subject expertise.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2 to 3).
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology.
• IGCSE teaching experience.
• Online or blended learning experience.
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms.

We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

Teach engaging science through live virtual classrooms to Years 9 to 13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 to 3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
