Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is seeking a certificated secondary science teacher to deliver live online chemistry lessons to Years 9–13 from anywhere in New Zealand. You’ll design personalised learning experiences, foster trusting relationships in a virtual classroom, and collaborate with a team of innovative educators.

The role requires NZ teaching registration, a science (chemistry) qualification, and strong knowledge of the NCEA Levels 2–3; experience with IGCSE and online/blended learning is

Teach engaging science and chemistry through live virtual classrooms to Years 9 to 13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 to 3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.

What you'll do:

• provide meaningful formative assessment, with quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment, aligned to curriculum goals
• contribute positively to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team
• develop genuine partnerships with, and report to parents and caregivers to support learning.
