Job summary

Halter seeks a Fleet Specialist in New Zealand to maintain and improve on-farm hardware infrastructure. You will diagnose issues, deploy equipment, and support deployments across farms, with regular NZ travel and on-site problem solving.

Effective collaboration with hardware, product, and customer success teams is essential to ensure reliable operations and outstanding customer service. This role is based in Oamaru with travel across the South Island.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting.
• Go-getter attitude and proactive approach to problems?
• Willingness to travel within New Zealand, including South Island regional travel.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask in field operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upkeep and repair of Halter infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
• Diagnose hardware issues and feedback to relevant teams.
• Deploy and upgrade on-farm infrastructure and equipment.
• Provide on-site deployment support and troubleshoot to ensure successful installations.
• Be part of the global on-call roster to support tower-related incidents.
• Collaborate across Halter teams to align goals and outcomes.
