Halter is seeking a motivated Fleet Specialist in Palmerston North, NZ, to support on-farm hardware infrastructure. You will maintain systems, diagnose issues, and contribute to reliable operations across our customer network.

This hands-on role requires practical engineering skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to travel NZ-wide. You’ll work with hardware, product, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional service and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting.
• Willingness to travel across NZ as required.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and field operations focus.
• Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of Halter infrastructure to keep operations running.
• Diagnose hardware issues and feed findings to the relevant teams.
• Assist deployments and on-site troubleshooting during farm installations.
• Participate in global on-call roster to handle tower-related incidents.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and customer success teams.
• Collect and analyze data from hardware to improve efficiency.
• Develop and manage a maintenance system for NZ market.
• Travel within the South Island and NZ-wide as required.
