Job summary

Halter in New Zealand (Palmerston North base) is seeking a Fleet Specialist to maintain on-farm hardware infrastructure, diagnose issues, and help deploy and upgrade systems. The role involves regular NZ travel and close collaboration with product and support teams to ensure reliable farm operations.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting is a must.

• Willingness to travel and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of Halter's infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
• Diagnose hardware issues and feed this information back to the relevant team.
• Deploy and upgrade infrastructure on-farm as needed.
• Provide on-site deployment support and troubleshooting.
• Be part of the global on-call roster for tower-related incidents.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment.
