Maxion Group is seeking an organised Office & Asset Administrator to join our Auckland team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. This hands-on role focuses on asset management, office administration and project support within a busy construction environment.
You will coordinate assets (vehicles, tools, equipment, PPE), maintain records, assist with insurance paperwork and liaise with staff and suppliers. Strong Microsoft Office skills and bilingual English/ Mandarin are essential.
Maxion Group is looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Office & Asset Administrator to join our Auckland team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave.
This is a varied, hands-on administration role supporting the day-to-day operations of our business, with a strong focus on company asset management, office administration and project team support. The role will suit someone who enjoys keeping things organised, following up actions and working across different teams in a busy construction environment.
Manage company assets including vehicles, tools, equipment and PPE.
Coordinate asset booking, allocation, return, servicing, repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate asset records, including RUC, registration, insurance and compliance documentation.
Manage PPE stock, purchasing, issue and replacement.
Assist with company insurance claims and related paperwork.
Provide general office administration and document management support.
Support project teams with documentation, bookings, coordination and other administrative tasks.
Liaise with employees, suppliers, subcontractors and external service providers.
Assist with other ad hoc administrative and operational duties as required.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous administration or asset coordination experience.
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Is confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
Has good communication and problem-solving skills.
Is proactive, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Previous experience in construction, civil, trades, fleet or equipment management would be advantageous.
A valid New Zealand driver licence would be beneficial.
