Job summary

Toll Group in New Zealand is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join the Auckland sales team. Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, you will grow our customer portfolio and uncover new business opportunities in targeted industries.

Based in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington, this role offers a path to develop a long-term career in logistics and freight forwarding while building strong client partnerships and delivering tailored solutions.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in sales, customer service, logistics or freight forwarding.
CRM experience and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in targeted industries.
Grow and retain existing accounts through consultative selling.
Build trusted relationships and understand client supply chain challenges.
Prepare proposals, RFQs and tender submissions.
Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records.
Collaborate with operations, product and support teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
