Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) invites applications for a permanent full-time Programme Support Coordinator in the Nursing team at the Nelson Campus. You will support learners and staff across the nursing programme, coordinating documentation and activities to ensure smooth operations.

Key duties include coordinating moderation and marking, developing documentation, and liaising with the advisory committee. NZ residency and strong communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• NZ resident with current work eligibility status.
• Proven coordination skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in similar roles in tertiary education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of health education regulations and compliance.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to nursing programme areas.
• Plan and coordinate work activities within the degree programme, including moderation and marking.
• Develop and coordinate the distribution of relevant documentation.
• Liaise between nursing and the advisory committee, coordinating meetings and minutes/agenda.
• Support the Head of Nursing with regulatory compliance work.
