Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) is offering a permanent full-time Programme Support Coordinator role at the Nelson Campus. You will join the Nursing team, supporting learners and staff while helping plan and coordinate degree activities.

Key duties include coordinating documentation, moderating and marking within the programme, and liaising with the advisory committee. The role requires strong communication, independence, and understanding of tertiary education and regulatory

Qualifications

• Effective coordination skills, both self and others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of health education requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in similar nursing/education support roles.

Responsibilities

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Support Coordinator to join the Nursing team at NMIT, supporting both learners and staff.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Nelson Campus.

As a Programme Support Coordinator you will:

• Actively contribute to the programme areas within nursing.
• Plan and coordinate work activities within the degree programme, including moderation and marking.
• Develop and coordinate the distribution of relevant documentation.
• Act as a liaison between nursing and the advisory comittee, coordinating meetings and relvant minutes/agenda.
• Support the Head of Nursing with regulatory compliance work.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Effective coordination skills, self & others.
• Highly proficient in Microsft word & excel.
• Relevant experience in similar roles.
• Understanding & awareness of tertiary education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of the health education requirements and regulatory compliance.
