About the role:
This role is to ensure the wellbeing of guests and the provision of services and standards of the Hotel are always maintained, collate and audit all cashiering shifts and pass all relevant information to Administration. The hours are predominantly between 11.00pm and 7.30am, however some flexibility is required.As a Night Auditor you will ensure the smooth running of the Front Office Department and will engage with a wide variety of guests from around the world.
Key responsibilities include:
Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
Respond to and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. Report any of concern to the Night Manager or Assistant Night Manager.
Report any unusual behaviour and/or activities to the Assistant Night Manger or Night Manager immediately.
Collate and audit all cashiering shifts.
Always maintain the security and safety of the hotel and its guests.
Looking after guests during the night, including check-ins, check-outs and general Front Office enquiries.
Completing the end-of-day audit and balancing Front Office and Food & Beverage transactions.
Ensuring all charges, payments, refunds and adjustments are correctly recorded.
Processing payments and managing reservations as required.
Preparing and distributing daily reports and completing other overnight administration.
Responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a friendly and professional manner.
Working with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure the hotel remains clean, safe and well presented.
Providing a clear handover to the morning team, including any outstanding guest requests, operational matters and follow-ups.
Assisting with other duties as required to support the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel.
About you:
The successful applicant will have:
Previous Front Office experience (12 months preferred)
The role involves basic accounting and data entry; therefore, computer literacy is a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
