Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts – Christchurch, South Island, is seeking a dependable Night Auditor for our Front Office team. This part-time role balances the books, oversees overnight operations, and assists guests with late check-ins and early departures.

You’ll stay calm and professional through the night, maintain safety, handle requests promptly, and ensure our service and presentation never waver. Hotel front office or night audit experience is preferred, with Opera Cloud knowledge a bonus.

Qualifications

• Night audit experience or front office experience in hotels.
• Attention to detail with financial figures.
• Duty Manager Certificate or willing to obtain.
• Full clean NZ Driver's licence.
• Calm, professional, and responsible manner.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently overnight.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud preferred.
• First Aid certificate or emergency training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete nightly auditing and reconciliations on time.
• Assist with guest check-ins/outs and late arrivals.
• Provide professional and friendly overnight service.
• Conduct security checks and maintain key control.
• Respond to guest requests and after-hours issues promptly.
• Keep public areas and lobby clean and welcoming.
• Follow health, safety and emergency procedures with confidence.
