Job summary

Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland is seeking a practical, hands-on General Maintenance Hand to keep our two Auckland properties running smoothly. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and handle repairs, painting touch-ups, equipment checks, and respond to guest maintenance requests.

Ideally you have skills in plastering, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and a basic understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, and BMS.

Qualifications

• Enjoy fixing things and solving problems.
• Comfort with manual labour and physically demanding tasks.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks safely within the designated trade.
• Respond to and log maintenance requests and sign off work.
• Assist with mechanical systems maintenance and HVAC/BMS checks.
