Job summary

Cordis Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. This hands-on role focuses on keeping the hotel in pristine condition, ensuring guest areas and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across departments, respond to maintenance requests, and perform preventative tasks while upholding high standards of safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as required.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and incident reporting.
• Excellent fault-finding and repair capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks to high standards across hotel facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly, prioritising guest needs.
• Support daily operations of the Engineering team and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and test hotel safety systems and equipment.
• Identify faults and report for repair or replacement.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Coordinate with external contractors as needed.
• Participate in rotating shift schedules and continuous process improvements.
