Job summary

V2 Mobile Repairs in Oamaru is seeking a motivated Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain mobile phones, tablets and other electronics. You will work in a fast-paced repair environment with pay rate of $32–$38 per hour, guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week.

You will perform diagnostics, component repairs, software troubleshooting and customer support while ensuring high quality service and clear communication about costs and completion times.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant work experience.
• A Level 5 qualification in Information Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile devices.
• Use diagnostic tools to detect hardware/software faults.
• Repair or replace components (screens, batteries, ports, etc.).
• Disassemble/reassemble devices carefully.
• Troubleshoot software issues and firmware problems.
• Assist customers with repair costs and ETA.
