Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment seeks an experienced Building Services Manager for a major Auckland construction project. You will own building services across the entire lifecycle, from pre-construction through commissioning and handover, coordinating mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire protection, and BMS systems with subcontractors and consultants.

You will lead coordination, manage technical submissions and shop drawings, oversee commissioning activities and QA processes, and drive delivery on

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Building Services Manager, Services Coordinator or similar MEP role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic building services.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and project stakeholders on large-scale construction.
• Manage programmes, procurement schedules and commissioning plans.
• Oversee QA, submissions, shop drawings and project documentation.
• New Zealand work rights required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building services from pre-construction to handover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire protection, and BMS systems.
• Lead coordination with subcontractors and consultants through commissioning.
• Ensure programme, quality and safety targets are achieved.
• Identify risks and resolve installation challenges to ensure project success.
