Job summary

Southbase Construction is seeking a Services Manager to lead building services engineering and management on our major NZ projects. You will work with the project team to develop high‑level systems, oversee subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are met.

As the principal site representative, you will champion our Inside the Box culture, mentor engineers and service managers, and drive successful tender submissions and delivery across education, residential,

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or related discipline.
5+ years in a Building Services role; HVAC experience desirable.
Experience delivering projects over $50m.
Experience leading teams of engineers and service managers.
BIM knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop high-level systems and strategies for building services engineering and management.
Represent the Company with respect to services including tender submissions and major project delivery.
Ensure safety, quality, cost, and time requirements are adhered to on major projects and maintenance period.
Lead by example, guiding services to team members and contributing to day-to-day delivery, strategy, and margin targets.
