Job summary

Babbage Consultants Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the National Building Services team in Auckland. You will design and deliver mechanical services for a variety of projects, using Revit and other modern tools, while managing client relationships and project priorities.

You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated building designs, with on-site construction monitoring and project support as needed, and contribute to your professional development

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ post-graduate experience in a building services consultancy.
• Strong mechanical building services design experience.
• Revit 3D design and drafting capability.
• Experience with thermal modelling software (IESVE).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical services across a broad range of projects in New Zealand.
• Develop mechanical designs using Revit and other design tools; manage project priorities and client engagement.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated building designs and provide on-site construction monitoring and project support.
• Support professional development and contribute to Chartered progression where applicable.
