Job summary

Canstaff in Auckland is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Intermediate–Senior) to design, document and deliver electrical building services projects from concept through practical completion.

You will work both independently and within a structured design and quality framework, ensuring NZ standards compliance and contributing to project success while advancing your career in a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ electrical engineering design in a consulting environment.
• Experience in electrical building services design.
• Strong technical and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design of LV electrical power distribution and lighting systems.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
• Deliver projects from concept through to practical completion.
• Ensure compliance with NZ standards and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and support during construction.
