Job summary

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is seeking a warm, empathetic Medical Receptionist to join our Christchurch Clinic on a permanent part-time basis.

The role involves welcoming clients, managing the front desk, and ensuring patient confidentiality, with Wednesday 08:30-17:00 (8 hours) plus a 30-minute unpaid break, in-office at 9 Washington Way, Christchurch. Prior reception experience is advantageous and alignment with our Kaupapa of equity and inclusion is valued.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills for in-person and phone interactions.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Commitment to Kaupapa, diversity and equity.
  • Punctual, reliable and flexible.
  • Reception experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Begin and conclude the client experience with warmth and confidentiality.
  • Greet clients and manage the front desk at Christchurch Clinic.
  • Support efficient clinic operations and patient flow.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoaare looking for anopen-minded, empathetic and professional Medical Receptionistto join our Christchurch Clinic on a permanent part-time basis.

Wednesday 08:30-17:00 8 hours + 30 minutes unpaid break

Both days working at Christchurch Clinic 9 Washington Way

Our Medical Receptionists begin and conclude the client experience. They make our clients feel welcome, safe and respected from the moment they enter our clinics to the moment they leave. Our Medical Receptionists are warm, empathetic and understand the significance of client confidentiality.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills both in person and on the phone.
  • An ability to handle and balance a fast-paced work environment.
  • Alignment with our Kaupapa and an interest in diversity, inclusion and equity.
  • Punctual, reliable and flexible.
  • Previous reception experience would be an advantage.
