Job summary

Waimea College invites applications for a suitably qualified teacher to join the Maths and Commerce Departments on a full-time, fixed-term basis to cover staff leave.

The position will teach Mathematics and Statistics to Years 9–13 (and related senior subjects as indicated in your application). Based in Nelson, the successful candidate will contribute to a high-quality education and uphold the school values of Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Akoranga.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with NZ certification to teach in secondary education.
• Experience teaching Maths and Commerce to secondary students.
• Ability to teach Years 9–13 with confidence and classroom management.
