Job summary

Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri Trust is seeking a Manutaki, a leadership role guiding kaimahi and whānau toward safer and healthier futures. You will lead a team, provide reflective supervision, and coordinate services in alignment with kaupapa Māori values.

The successful candidate will have a minimum five years in social services, three years in leadership, and a relevant NZ qualification, plus a full NZ driver license and ability to clear police vetting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in the social services, health, justice or community sector.
• A minimum of three years leadership, supervision or team coordination experience.
• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Education, Nursing or a related field.
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Ability to satisfy Police Vetting and other relevant screening requirements.

As we continue our journey to becoming a more trauma-informed, values-led and faith-aligned organisation, we are seeking a Manutaki (Manager) who can help bring this vision to life.

About the Role

The Manutaki creates the conditions in which whānau and kaimahi can flourish by leading with integrity, compassion, courage and a commitment to upholding mana.

This role combines leadership, supervision, programme facilitation and service coordination. You will support kaimahi to grow in confidence and capability while ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in alignment with Te Whare values and practice frameworks.
