Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial engineering, process improvement or similar role.
• Experience with Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping.
• Data analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing environments and processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relocation to Queenstown, Eastern Cape if needed.
• Exposure to safety and environmental regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to find inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Conduct time and motion studies to improve workflow and cycle times.
• Design improved factory layouts and workstation setups for ergonomics.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify root causes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with production staff to implement and sustain improvements.
• Support integration of new technologies and equipment.
• Track KPIs related to productivity, cost, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
