Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineering Consultant in Queenstown to optimize production and logistics. You will analyze operations, quantify benefits, and design improved layouts and workflows.

You will collaborate across departments to implement solutions, document processes, and drive cost reductions while enhancing productivity and quality in diverse industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial engineering, focusing on process analysis and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
• Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of manufacturing, logistics, and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and present detailed recommendations for process optimization, system upgrades, and resource allocation.
• Design and implement new production layouts, workflows, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Utilize statistical analysis and modeling techniques to quantify potential benefits of proposed changes.
• Collaborate with project teams, management, and operational staff to ensure successful implementation of engineered solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and best practices.
