Job summary

Laminex New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Training Coordinator to collaborate with frontline teams at the Taupo site. You will coordinate training programs, help identify capability gaps and support onboarding to raise safety and performance.

This role emphasizes practical development, strong relationships with production leaders, and continuous improvement of our training processes to uplift manufacturing excellence and site capability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate and drive training activities across the manufacturing site
• Partner with Production Managers, Team Leaders and Supervisors to identify capability needs
• Ensure training plans, competency frameworks and skills matrices are maintained and delivered
• Lead our Manufacturing Excellence programme
• Support onboarding and training for new employees
• Track training completion, compliance and competency requirements
• Facilitate practical, on-the-job learning and development initiatives
• Work with frontline teams to embed safe work practices and operational excellence
• Continuously improve training processes and identify capability gaps

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need a formal L&D background. What's more important is your ability to work alongside operational teams, build relationships, and help people develop their skills.
