Job summary

Laminex New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Training Coordinator to collaborate with frontline teams at the Taupo site. You will coordinate training programs, help identify capability gaps and support onboarding to raise safety and performance.

This role emphasizes practical development, strong relationships with production leaders, and continuous improvement of our training processes to uplift manufacturing excellence and site capability.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting training in a manufacturing, production, or operational setting.
• Ability to build relationships and influence employees at all levels.
• Strong organisational and administration skills with a practical, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive training activities across the manufacturing site.
• Partner with Production Managers, Team Leaders and Supervisors to identify capability needs.
• Maintain training plans, competency frameworks and skills matrices.
• Lead Manufacturing Excellence initiatives.
• Support onboarding and training for new employees.
• Track training completion, compliance and competency requirements.
• Facilitate on-the-job learning and development initiatives.
• Promote safe work practices and operational excellence.
