Job summary

Beyond Recruitment in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. You will deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and meaningful commercial analysis to support strategic and operational outcomes.

You will partner with leaders across the organisation, turning financial data into actionable insights and driving process improvements while supporting month-end and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial finance position.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems capability.
• Proactive and commercially focused mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CA, CPA, or progress towards a professional accounting qualification is highly regarded.
