Job summary

Pohlen Partners Permanent Roles in Auckland seeks a finance professional to provide decision support across operations and sales, steering pricing and profitability analyses.

You will build budgets, forecasts and financial models, with advanced Excel and Power BI reporting; collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence performance and business growth. CA-qualified or progressing candidates are preferred, and current NZ eligibility is required.

Overview This opportunity contributes to the divisional finance team with impact across the business unit especially operations and sales functions. Position

The position responsibility is to provide decision support and commercial insight including pricing, profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting. The role works closely with sales and operations teams ensuring challenge and analysis to support business understanding and growth. Financial modelling and cost analysis, project input and month end accounting are included elements. utilising advanced Excel and Power BI for reporting, they will teach this as required.

Person

This role draws on your critical thinking, and natural curiositywhile allowing you to demonstrate strong communication in translating financial information in a concise manner. Detail focused with a proactive attitude, you are excited by influencing performance, building strong relationships, and applying your financial expertise across the wider business. Preference is for someone working towards their CA qualification.
