Job summary

Kā te Rama Switched On Group is seeking a Customer Coordinator in Christchurch on a fixed-term basis (parental leave cover until Feb 2027). You will coordinate maintenance work, manageable workloads, and communicate with customers to keep them informed while balancing priorities across trades and teams.

You will maintain accurate records, support data management, and provide customer-centric service to ensure timely delivery and positive outcomes for New Zealand communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration, scheduling or a similar role.
• Strong communication and ability to engage with a wide range of people.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to prioritise, solve problems and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases or work management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work orders from initial request through to invoicing and closure.
• Schedule and dispatch the right trades based on location, skills, availability and customer requirements.
• Communicate with customers throughout the process and keep them informed of expectations.
• Monitor work progress and follow up to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email and ensure actions are followed through.
• Maintain accurate records and update systems with job and customer information.
• Produce reports and support the team with administration and data management tasks.
• Identify trends, recurring issues and opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency.
