Staffroom Ltd in Tauranga, a New Zealand law firm with a 100-strong team, seeks a hands-on IT professional to own day-to-day technology. You will support colleagues, manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, and help shape AI workflows for lawyers.

This role combines administration with practical automation and security in a small IT team. You will automate, streamline, and implement safe AI tools, building on a foundation of cloud services and on‑premise reductions.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in production.
• Practical knowledge of Entra ID and Intune for device management.
• Experience with Windows Server and networking fundamentals.
• Backup and restore expertise with proven procedures.
• Scripting in PowerShell and Power Automate familiarity.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
• Experience in a professional services or legal environment is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day IT support to staff and resolve issues to avoid repeats.
• Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID.
• Manage Windows endpoints via Intune with conditional access and config deployment.
• Maintain remaining infrastructure: networking, firewalls, backups with external providers.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell and Power Automate and improve processes.
• Evaluate and select technology solutions considering cost, security, and practicality.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal admin team to ensure service delivery.
