Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Staffroom Ltd in Tauranga, a New Zealand law firm with a 100-strong team, seeks a hands-on IT professional to own day-to-day technology. You will support colleagues, manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, and help shape AI workflows for lawyers.
This role combines administration with practical automation and security in a small IT team. You will automate, streamline, and implement safe AI tools, building on a foundation of cloud services and on‑premise reductions.
Work amongst a 100 person team to keep systems and technology running smoothly and securely. Understand how things work today and help shape what comes next.
We’re a Tauranga law firm of 100 people, and we’re looking for someone to take day‑to‑day ownership of the technology they all rely on. This is a hands‑on role in a small IT team. You’ll be the person people walk up to, ask for help, and trust with the thing they can’t get working right before an important meeting. Keeping everything running smoothly and securely is the heart of the job.
You’ll help us get more out of the tools we already have, automate the repetitive stuff, and help find safe, practical ways to put AI to work for our Lawyers. If you enjoy helping people as much as improving how things work, read on.
We have spent the last two years rebuilding our foundations. Most of the on‑premise server infrastructure that used to occupy the cupboard under the stairs is gone. Our line of business applications are SaaS. We run a Microsoft cloud environment, manage our endpoints properly, and continue to automate what can be automated. But there’s so much more to do.
The next step is how we introduce AI tools and workflows into the firm intentionally; on top of an environment we understand and control. There is real work ahead of us; evaluating tools, configuring them safely, and helping people use them well. You would be building on work that has already been done, and you would have a say in what comes next.
