Job summary

Hotel St Moritz, part of the MGallery Hotel Collection, in Queenstown, NZ, seeks a Night Front Office professional to manage night operations, reports, and guest concerns. You will oversee night portering, scheduling, and ensure compliance with service standards.

Responsibilities include supervising late arrivals, running reports, and maintaining safety. Experience in Front Office and Opera PMS is preferred; salary is NZD 31–33 per hour. This is a permanent on-site role in Otago, Queenstown.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in Front Office, 5-star property preferred.
• Proficient with Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
• Available to work across 7 day a week rosters.
• LCQ, Managers cert and first aid certificate preferred but not required.
• Current, full drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night portering and late guest arrivals ensuring procedures are followed.
• Run night audits and balance procedures.
• Maintain safety and security during the night shift and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure efficient night check-in/check-out for arrivals and departures.
• Coordinate with Front Office Manager on procedures and improvements.
