Job summary

Qube Logistics is a leading New Zealand provider of container logistics with services across the country. The People & Culture team is seeking a recruiter to attract, recruit, and onboard talent for operational and frontline roles across New Zealand, including drivers, labourers, apprentices, and surveyors.

The role focuses on building relationships, coordinating multiple priorities, and delivering exceptional recruitment and onboarding experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, talent acquisition, or a related coordination role.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• A customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to support both candidates and hiring managers.
• Confidence working with systems, reporting, and administration processes.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, from advertising through to appointment and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and identify high-quality candidates.
• Support candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and offer processes.
• Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
• Prepare employment-related documentation including employment agreements, variations, transfers, and correspondence.
• Support managers with recruitment best practice and employment processes.
