Job summary

Suntory Oceania is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Analyst – Logistics to join our Finance team and partner with our Logistics function across Australia and New Zealand. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity that blends financial analysis with business partnering to influence decisions and drive operational performance.

You will provide insights to manage one of our largest supply chain cost bases, support forecasts, budgeting and Integrated Business Planning processes, and help

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Experience in a commercial, financial analysis or business partnering role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• The ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and build trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with Logistics leaders to provide financial insights and commercial support.
• Delivering timely and accurate reporting across logistics costs, freight performance and cost-per-case metrics.
• Supporting forecasting, budgeting and Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Analyzing cost drivers, variances and operational performance trends across ANZ logistics operations.
• Developing financial models and reporting tools that improve visibility and decision-making.
• Assisting with business cases, capital investment analysis and other commercial initiatives.
• Identifying opportunities to optimise cost performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Contributing to a high-performing Supply Chain Finance team through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
