Job summary

Pernod Ricard in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst (Trade Spend Analyst) on a 6-month contract. You will own trade spend processing, claims reconciliation, and month-end support, collate and validate customer claims, and prepare journals and reports.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will reconcile, accrue, and report trade spend across key customer accounts with a focus on accuracy and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade spend, claims processing, rebates, or commercial finance support.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with ability to validate information.
• Experience preparing journals, accruals, or month-end reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collate, validate, and process all customer trade spend claims, rebates, and scans.
• Reconcile aged outstanding claims and prepare monthly status summaries.
• Prepare and post trade spend accruals, month-end journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Run monthly reports including commission and Nebula reports; communicate with customers.
• Support pricing cover when Pricing Controller is unavailable and provide ad hoc reporting.
