Job summary

Te Kura Ki Hikurangi (formerly Prospect School) is seeking an experienced Certificated teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team in supporting our vibrant, multicultural school.

The successful applicant will work closely with our two DPs to identify students with specific learning and behavioural needs and ensure they are well supported, including communication with whānau and outside agencies.

Qualifications

• Experienced educator with strong relational and administration skills.

• Develop initiatives to streamline systems and support teachers and learners.

Te Kura Ki Hikurangi (formerly Prospect School) are seeking an experienced, passionate educator with strong relational and administration skills to work with our SLT in serving our vibrant multi cultural school.

The successful applicant will be working closely with our two DPs to identifystudents with specific learning and behavioural needs and ensure they are well supported. This will require communication with outside agencies and close working relationships with whānau and teachers in classrooms.

The project side of this role is to develop specific initiatives that can streamline systems while giving the best support to teachers, ākonga and whānau in a culturally sustaining way. It is our vision to create an ūranga (safe landing space) for all tamariki at our kura, reducing barriers to enhance educational outcomes.
