Job summary

Te Kura Ki Hikurangi (formerly Prospect School) is seeking an experienced Certificated teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team in supporting our vibrant, multicultural school.

The successful applicant will work closely with our two DPs to identify students with specific learning and behavioural needs and ensure they are well supported, including communication with whānau and outside agencies.

Qualifications

• Experienced educator with strong relational and administration skills.
• Ability to communicate with outside agencies and whānau.
• Develop initiatives to streamline systems and support teachers and learners.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the SLT to identify students with specific learning and behavioural needs and ensure they are well supported.
• Coordinate with whānau, teachers and outside agencies to maintain strong relational links.
• Develop initiatives that streamline systems while upholding culturally sustaining practices.
