Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking an Auckland-based Learning Programme Lead to build the capability and confidence of our bankers. You will create learning experiences that are knowledge ready, service ready and role ready, within The Academy, our centre of learning excellence.

You’ll design and deliver blended programs across face-to-face, virtual, and digital channels, translating complex banking information into practical learning.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering learning within a corporate environment.
• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong facilitation across face-to-face and virtual learning.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and blended approaches.
• The ability to simplify complex information for practical application.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across the business.
• A collaborative and curious approach with a passion for helping others learn.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging learning experiences for bankers.
• Create blended learning across face-to-face, virtual and digital channels.
• Translate complex information into practical learning for roles.
• Partner with business, Product, Risk and Compliance to stay relevant.
• Facilitate learning for diverse audiences and drive development.
• Lead learning programmes from design to evaluation and improvement.
• Use feedback and outcomes to strengthen the learning experience.
