New Zealand Customs Service is seeking a Training Advisor to shape operational training programmes and govern the training lifecycle across the organisation. Based in Auckland, the role supports national consistency in training standards and coaches frontline trainers while developing learning systems to strengthen capability.

The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts, delivering both in-person and virtual training, and contributing to continuous improvement in learning

Formación

• Experience designing and delivering learning programs across multi-channel delivery (face-to-face, online, remote).
• Ability to align training initiatives with operational needs and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to learning and development strategy and policy.
• Develop learning needs analyses with stakeholders.
• Plan and schedule learning events and deliver effective courses.
• Lead or manage key training projects with quality outcomes.
• Support QA processes including assessment and evaluation cycles.
• Advise on training capability development and workforce readiness.
• Collaborate with SMEs and course facilitators on design and development.
