Job summary

Remuera Intermediate School is seeking a full-time teacher aide to join our dedicated team commencing in Term 4, 12 October 2026 or earlier by mutual agreement. This role is crucial in supporting our students with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

The position is based at our school in Remuera, Auckland. Based at our Remuera campus, you will provide one-on-one and small group support, help students participate in classroom activities,

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for helping 11–13 year-old students succeed.
• Team player with flexibility, energy, sense of humour and a strong work ethic.
• Initiative and previous experience in a teacher aide role is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities
