The Lean Operations Specialist is a new role that provides vital administrative and analytical support to the Chief Operating Officer to enable process improvement and day-to-day oversight of Team Leaders.

Qualifications

• Experienced with LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and ability to lead meetings.
• High level of self-organisation and process discipline.
• Deep understanding of lean management principles and process flows.
• Kata improvement and Kata coaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and explain data.
• Recommend priorities in discussion with COO and direct energies where they are needed.
• Maintain reporting platforms with lean process knowledge.
• Conduct systems auditing to identify concerns and monitor changes.
• Measure demand in the factory/warehouse (TAKT Time) and dispatch vs cycle time.
• Work with team members and lead meetings with confidence and respect.
• Be the conduit between CAD for introduction of new cabinets or changes.
• Ensure materials are available before jobs reach cutting, assembly, and dispatch.
