Scania New Zealand (Hamilton) seeks a capable workshop supervisor to lead the Hamilton workshop team, delivering high-quality workmanship on time while prioritising safety. You will work with the branch manager to optimise processes and ensure compliance with Scania’s business standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, a technical background in vehicle maintenance, and a dedication to coaching technicians and apprentices in a dynamic, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications in vehicle repair or maintenance.
• Experience supervising a workshop or service team.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements in a workshop.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the Workshop Team alongside the branch manager to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
• Monitor risk management, identify hazards, and implement controls.
• Motivate the team to achieve effective customer outcomes and productivity.
• Support Team Leaders in guiding Technicians and apprentices.
