Job summary

Growing Gardens – Dairy Flat, North Island, is seeking a landscaper/builder with at least 5 years experience in the field for residential landscaping and artificial turf installations around greater Auckland. The right candidate will build hard and soft landscaping, read plans, supervise a team, and ensure site safety.

A clean NZ driver's license is required and you must be a current NZ resident or hold NZ work rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on landscaping experience.
• Ability to read and implement building plans.
• NZ resident or NZ work permit holders only.

Responsibilities

• Construct hard and soft landscaping projects.
• Build fences, decking, retaining walls and carpentry work.
• Read and build from building plans.
• Excavate, level, and compact surfaces.
• Supervise a team and promote site safety.
• Demonstrate pride and quality workmanship.
• Forecast equipment, labour, and materials.
• Work well in a team and independently.
• Maintain a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Growing Gardens – Dairy Flat, North Island

Are you someone who is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys being involved in all different aspects of landscaping?

We are looking for a landscaper/builder with at least 5 years experience in the field.

Growing Gardens is based in Dairy Flat on Auckland's North Shore. We specialise in residential landscaping and artificial turf installation in and around greater Auckland. We have some exciting projects on the go and are on the lookout for people to come and join our team.

The right candidate needs to:

• Be responsable for the construction of hard and soft landscaping projects
• Be competent in building fences, decking, retaining walls and other carpentry work
• Be able to read and build from building plans
• Be competent in excavating, levelling and compacting surfaces
• Supervise a team in an efficient manner promoting job worksite safety
• Exhibits pride and quality workmanship
• Assist with forecasting equipment, labour and materials needed to ensure efficient production
• Work well with others in a team but can also work independently
• Great attitude with enthusiasm and motivation to learn new skills.
• Fit and healthy
• A clean full NZ driver’s licence

We offer 40-45 hours of work from Monday to Friday starting at 7am. We do not work on Public Holidays and shut down from Christmas Eve till the second Monday of the new Year.
