We're looking for a Kerbing Labourer to join our team in Central Otago. This is hands-on, outdoor work where you'll help deliver good work that makes a real difference in local communities.
You'll be part of a down to earth crew that backs each other, works hard, and takes pride in getting the job done right. Day to day, you'll support kerbing and civil construction activities across a range of projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Based in Central Otago, this role also offers the lifestyle to match. Think big skies, dry summers, great trails, lakes, and an easy place to build a life outside of work. If you enjoy practical work, being outdoors, and living somewhere that gives you room to breathe, this could be the role for you.
Support kerbing, concrete, and general civil construction activities on site.
Assist with site set up, clean up, manual handling, and operating basic tools and equipment.
Work closely with the site crew to deliver safe, high-quality work on time.
Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements, especially when working around live traffic and active worksites.
Meet Fulton Hogan's Drug and Alcohol policy requirements, including pre-employment, random, and for-cause testing.
Experience in civil construction, kerbing, concrete, roading, or other hands-on outdoor work is preferred but not essential.
A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from the team around you.
Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work in varying weather conditions and able to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and turning up ready to do good work every day.
A full Class 1 licence is preferred, and you must be able to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing.
At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us. You'll have access to:
Medical insurance and Life insurance after the eligibility period.
KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestones, up to 7%.
Parental leave top up payment with additional return to work support.
Ongoing training and development, with clear career growth and progression opportunities.
Great discounts at a wide range of retailers.
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is at the heart of everything we do. It's not just what we deliver, it's how we show up for each other, our customers, and the communities we work in.
We're a business that is grounded, friendly, and forward moving. Titles matter less than ideas. We take the work seriously, not ourselves, and when it counts, we switch on and deliver to a high standard. If you want to be part of a team that backs people, values safety, and is always looking for a better way, you'll fit right in here.
