Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Central Otago is seeking a Junior Environmental Advisor to support environmental systems, compliance and sustainable practices on local infrastructure projects. You will spend about three days a week on site with operational teams, helping reduce environmental impact and meet regulatory requirements.

We value practical, organised individuals with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a current NZ driver licence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
• Site visits, environmental assessments and audits, identifying risks and practical ways to reduce environmental impact.
• Prepare and monitor environmental management plans in line with regulations and company standards.
• Maintain consent, monitoring and compliance records through the CS-VUE consent compliance database.
• Work with operational teams to support compliance, contribute to investigations, and provide environmental input into tenders and communications.
• A Current NZ driver licence.
