Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Kerbing Labourer to join our Central Otago team. This hands-on role covers kerbing, concrete and civil construction work on site, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and teamwork.

You'll support site setup, operate basic tools, and collaborate with a down-to-earth crew committed to getting the job done right in all weather conditions. A full Class 1 licence is preferred and pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, kerbing, concrete, roading or other hands-on outdoor work preferred.
• Ability to follow health, safety and environmental requirements on live sites.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Support kerbing, concrete and general civil construction activities on site.
• Assist with site setup, cleanup, manual handling and operating basic tools and equipment.
• Work closely with the site crew to deliver safe, high-quality work on time.
• Follow health, safety and environmental requirements, especially around live traffic and active worksites.

This is hands-on, outdoor work where you'll help deliver good work that makes a real difference in local communities. You'll be part of a down to earth crew that backs each other, works hard, and takes pride in getting the job done right. Day to day, you'll support kerbing and civil construction activities across a range of projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. • Support kerbing, concrete, and general civil construction activities on site.
• Assist with site set up, clean up, manual handling, and operating basic tools and equipment.
• Work closely with the site crew to deliver safe, high-quality work on time.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements, especially when working around live traffic and active worksites.
• Meet Fulton Hogan's Drug and Alcohol policy requirements, including pre-employment, random, and for-cause testing.
• Experience in civil construction, kerbing, concrete, roading, or other hands-on outdoor work is preferred.
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from the team around you.
• Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work in varying weather conditions and able to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and turning up ready to do good work every day.
• A full Class 1 licence is preferred, and you must be able to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing.
