Fulton Hogan Ltd in Central Otago is seeking a Kerbing Labourer to join our hands-on outdoor team. You will support kerbing and civil construction activities across projects, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and teamwork.

Based in Alexandra, this permanent, full-time role offers a lifestyle in a community surrounded by outdoor recreation. A positive attitude, practical mindset and willingness to learn are essential, with a full Class 1 licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, kerbing, concrete, roading, or other hands-on outdoor work.
• Full Class 1 licence preferred, and ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Strong safety, quality and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support kerbing, concrete, and general civil construction activities on site.
• Assist with site setup, cleanup, manual handling, and operating basic tools and equipment.
• Work closely with the site crew to deliver safe, high-quality work on time.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements, including drug and alcohol testing policy.

We’re looking for a Kerbing Labourer to join our team in Central Otago. This is hands‑on, outdoor work where you’ll help deliver good work that makes a real difference in local communities. You’ll be part of a down to earth crew that backs each other, works hard, and takes pride in getting the job done right. Day to day, you’ll support kerbing and civil construction activities across a range of projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Based in Central Otago, this role also offers the lifestyle to match. Think big skies, dry summers, great trails, lakes, and an easy place to build a life outside of work. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Support kerbing, concrete, and general civil construction activities on site. Assist with site set up, clean up, manual handling, and operating basic tools and equipment. Work closely with the site crew to deliver safe, high‑quality work on time. Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements, especially when working around live traffic and active worksites. Meet Fulton Hogan’s Drug and Alcohol policy requirements, including pre‑employment, random, and for‑cause testing.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with Experience in civil construction, kerbing, concrete, roading, or other hands‑on outdoor work is preferred.

A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from the team around you. Comfortable with hands‑on, outdoor work in varying weather conditions and able to carry out the inherent requirements of the role. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and turning up ready to do good work every day. A full Class 1 licence is preferred, and you must be able to pass pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol testing.
